We can understand your frustration with gambling, because a lot of it is luck and some of it is skill, so how does magic determine who wins & who loses? Especially if those you are playing against are also using talismans, spells, etc to enhance their chances.
It's something we've seen over years of working with gamblers, and we have a fair share of gamblers who buy lucky talismans from us. Just because you hit a bad streak in poker or slots doesn't meant the bad streak will last forever, and it doesn't mean that your spells & enchantments haven't worked to keep you from losing more money than you would have without them, or that they haven't worked towards getting you to a greater goal that you don't know about yet.
Gambling is very much the same as the lottery, and we have many lottery players who buys lucky spells as well. Many of them are playing the same lottery game as the others buying from us, so if they all have lucky talismans, who wins? From our experience, and from what the words of magic show in terms of this, it is very much dictated by destiny. It doesn't mean you will win, and it doesn't mean you won't win, the point of lucky spells & charms is to enhance your odds over someone who does not have a lucky talisman. Even if two gamblers visited the same practitioner and received the exact-same spell, even if it was the most powerful spell in the world, there would still have to be a decision made between the two; and often that is dictated by destiny. The universe makes the choice, and it typically means what you lose now will be gained again in the future.
